System Requirements

Media Player - If you are not using a recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, you may need to install Microsoft Windows Media Player yourself. You should use Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher, which may be downloaded for free here.

Get Windows Media Player  Get Windows Internet Explorer

Browser - This site also supports Netscape and Firefox, but is optimized for Internet Explorer 7.0 or later. Get the latest MSIE browser for free here. Presentations are best viewed using a high speed connection such as DSL, Cable etc…

Buffer - When you play a file or stream, Windows Media Player fills up the buffer before it begins playing so that you will not notice minor problems with traffic on the internet or the local network. The factors that affect buffering are: connection speed, connection quality, network congestion, not using MSIE 6.0 or above, other applications that are competing for resources on your computer, and time of day.

Connection speed - Connection speed is usually the most important buffering factor. Modem users should consider upgrading to the fastest possible connection speed for the best results with Web-based multimedia. If you are restricted to a slower modem, running fewer applications during a presentation and viewing during evening hours may result in less buffering.
